Summary: The article presents a comparative analysis of the representativeness of environmental functions of specially protected natural areas (SPNA) of regional significance located on the territory of Omsk. They are the natural benchmark "Regional Dendrological Garden named after G.I. Genze" and the natural park "Bird Harbor". The SPNA representativeness scores were determined according to the method of M. S. Stishov (2012), and a comparative analysis of the obtained data was carried out. It was established that the representativeness of the environmental functions of the "Bird's Harbor" protected area was higher than that of the "Regional Dendrological Garden named after G. I. Genze" protected area due to more developed conservation and ecological-stabilizing functions. The potential for the development of ecological tourism in the city of Omsk on the territory of these protected areas was identified.
