Summary: Data on the long-term (2005-2021) rhythms of the blood-sucking mosquito Aedes communis (De Geer, 1776) at a station in the vicinity of Syktyvkar (61°38ʹ s. w., 50°43ʹ v. d.) are presented. The dependence of the phases of growth and decline of the relative nutritional activity of the female mosquito A. communis on solar rhythms is traced. A correlation was noted between the relative nutritional activity of female mosquitoes of this species and solar activity for April (r = 0.56) and May (r = 0.59).
